Package: galeon Version: 1.3.21-8 Severity: normal Occasionally, a tab will get in a state so that it doubles certain keyboard events. The other tabs are not affected.
For example, C-+ will increase the magnification to 110, and then 120. C-- will decrease the magnification to 110 and 100. Using C-PageUp to the affected tab causes the tab to show for a fraction of second but then the next tab is displayed. Ditto for C-PageDown. I've also used C-w to close the tab next to the affected tab, and then the affected tab closed down too! I found that if I dragged the tab to the desktop so it creates its own window, the behavior stops. If you visit another URL in the affected tab, the behavior goes away too. I don't yet have a recipe to reproduce this, but I'm hoping that by posting, we'll see if this is affected others, and perhaps someone may post a recipe to reproduce it. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (80, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US) Versions of packages galeon depends on: ii galeon-common 1.3.21-8 GNOME web browser for advanced use ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.3-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libaudiofile0 0.2.6-6 Open-source version of SGI's audio ii libbonobo2-0 2.10.1-1 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libbonoboui2-0 2.10.1-1 The Bonobo UI library ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libesd-alsa0 [libesd0] 0.2.36-1 Enlightened Sound Daemon (ALSA) - ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-2 GCC support library ii libgconf2-4 2.10.1-6 GNOME configuration database syste ii libgcrypt11 1.2.2-1 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libglade2-0 1:2.5.1-2 library to load .glade files at ru ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome-desktop-2 2.10.2-1 Utility library for loading .deskt ii libgnome-keyring0 0.4.5-1 GNOME keyring services library ii libgnome2-0 2.10.1-1 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomecanvas2-0 2.10.2-2 A powerful object-oriented display ii libgnomeui-0 2.10.1-1 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgnomevfs2-0 2.10.1-5 The GNOME virtual file-system libr ii libgnutls11 1.0.16-14 GNU TLS library - runtime library ii libgpg-error0 1.1-4 library for common error values an ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.10-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libice6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjpeg62 6b-10 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii liborbit2 1:2.12.4-1 libraries for ORBit2 - a CORBA ORB ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-3 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libsm6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System Session Management ii libstartup-notification0 0.8-1 library for program launch feedbac ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-2 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtasn1-2 0.2.13-1 Manage ASN.1 structures (runtime) ii libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System protocol client li ii libxml2 2.6.22-2 GNOME XML library ii mozilla-browser 2:1.7.12-1 The Mozilla Internet application s ii procps 1:3.2.5-1 /proc file system utilities ii xlibs 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-4 compression library - runtime Versions of packages galeon recommends: ii gnome-control-center [capplet 1:2.10.2-1 utilities to configure the GNOME d ii gnome-icon-theme 2.10.1-2 GNOME Desktop icon theme ii iso-codes 0.48-1 ISO language, territory, currency ii mozilla-mailnews 2:1.7.12-1 The Mozilla Internet application s ii mozilla-psm 2:1.7.12-1 The Mozilla Internet application s ii scrollkeeper 0.3.14-10 A free electronic cataloging syste ii yelp 2.10.0-3 Help browser for GNOME 2 -- no debconf information -- Bill Wohler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.newt.com/wohler/ GnuPG ID:610BD9AD Maintainer of comp.mail.mh FAQ and MH-E.
