Package: apt-listbugs
Version: 0.1.16
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
At times apt-listbugs doesn't download the bugs and errors out. For e.g. :-

[$] sudo aptitude install python-relatorio=0.6.1-3 -y

The following packages will be upgraded:
  python-relatorio
1 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 0 B/261 kB of archives. After unpacking 68.6 kB will be used.
Retrieving bug reports... 0%^CInterrupted
 Fail
Error retrieving bug reports from the server with the following error message:
E: exit
It could be because your network is down, or because of broken proxy
servers, or the BTS server itself is down. Check network configuration
and try again
Retry downloading bug information? [Y/n] %

[$] E: Input/output error @ io_fillbuf - fd:0 <STDIN>

Now in the above scenario I waited for 2-3 minutes before interrupting
the wait.

The work-around so far entails running :-

LANG=en_US.UTF-8 apt-listbugs list python-relatorio

multiple times till one time I get :-

[$] LANG=en_US.UTF-8 apt-listbugs list python-relatorio

Retrieving bug reports... Done
Parsing Found/Fixed information... Done

After which it is able to access the bts and either download a bts bug
number with bug headline or parse smoothly (I mean no bugs found) and
installation happens.

This started happened just few days back. It doesn't matter whether
bandwidth is using elsewhere or not. Each time it happened, I also did
ping bugs.debian.org and apart from couple of times, each time the
server responded.

I don't know if it's possible to rectify it as there are many network
connections between my system and the bts and any one going down or
not connecting would have the above state.

Just reporting as E: Input/output error @ io_fillbuf - fd:0 <STDIN>
this part is new, as in error never seen before.
