Package: desmume Version: 0.9.10-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
1. The keybinding information seems to be outdated and reverses 3 bindings: Keyboard can be configured and by default works as follows: F1-F10 load savegame from slot 1-10 Shift+F1-F10 save game to slot 1-10 Non-keypad arrows act as d-pad z = A x = B ... Left Shift = SELECT x/z have been flipped, as has left/right shift. That is: x = A, z = B, select = Shift_R. (Screenshot of default keybindings: https://i.imgur.com/vnAVHqs.png) 2. The man page also omits the option `--depth-threshold`; passing an option like `--depth-threshold=10` is necessary to get some games like _Advance Wars: Dual Strike_ into a playable state (eg, you can't see the cursor in _Dual Strike_ without that option; #452 https://sourceforge.net/p/desmume/bugs/452/ ). 3. Also, less importantly, the man page says --opengl-2d Enables using OpenGL for screen rendering But this option no longer seems to exist: $ desmume --opengl-2d Error parsing command line arguments: Unknown option --opengl-2d Failed to set format: Invalid argument -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'oldoldstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.utf8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages desmume depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.28-1 ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libcairo2 1.14.0-2.1 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.2-10 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.31.1-2+b1 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 10.5.5-1 ii libglade2-0 1:2.6.4-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.44.0-2 ii libglu1-mesa [libglu1] 9.0.0-2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.25-3 ii libgtkglext1 1.2.0-3.2 ii libosmesa6 10.5.5-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.36.8-3 ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.15-11 ii libsoundtouch0 1.8.0-1 ii libstdc++6 4.9.2-10 ii libtinyxml2.6.2 2.6.2-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 desmume recommends no packages. desmume suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
