Package: libjs-bootstrap Version: 3.3.4+dfsg-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
the packaged bootstrap requires jquery version 1.9.1 or higher, but in sid only 1.7.2 is available. The freedombox project uses libjs-bootstrap for the admin interface (debian package 'plinth'). Using it gives the following javascript error: "Error: Bootstrap's JavaScript requires jQuery version 1.9.1 or higher" Dropdown menus and probably all other javascript functions don't work currently. Packaging a new jquery version should fix the problem; I don't know anything about packaging, but perhaps it'd be good to have more specific dependencies on the jquery package (i.e. >= 1.9.1) to avoid unintended upgrades of libjs-bootstrap which might break the functionality. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
