Unfortunately I run needrestart-session under a sudo root terminal and I obtain a panel wich says "None of your processes need to be restarted" and the notification "Relogin or restart required!" If I do sudo needrestart-session I obtain the same result. I agree it's a minor bug because if I do "needrestart-session" it works well.
