Package: krb5-kdc
Version: 1.12.1+dfsg-20
Severity: important

On my sid server running systemd, trying to run sudo service krb5-kdc
restart causes the KDC process and the service process to hang for an
extended period of time. The KDC never starts, and the service process
eventually gives up.

Commenting the following lines out in
/lib/systemd/system/krb5-kdc.service makes the service start correctly:

  InaccessibleDirectories=-/etc/ssh -/etc/ssl/private  /root
  ReadOnlyDirectories=/
  ReadWriteDirectories=-/var/tmp /tmp /var/lib/krb5kdc -/var/run /run

Leaving even one of them uncommented causes the failure.

This server has been running a KDC (on sid) for several years without
problems.
