I've installed darktable:amd64's dependencies by hand, and I've
confirmed that /usr/bin/darktable launches and the user interface
looks right. (And that the 64-bit version is much more responsive
than the 32-bit version was!)

To do this I had to use dpkg -i --force-depends, and I had
to do something similar with liblensfun0.

aptitude is still very unhappy as it insists that these packages
are broken and must be removed.

I was surprised to see that liblensfun0 is maintained by a different
group. Can you kindly let me know what is a proper way to alert
them that their package is affected by a similar bug?
(In their case, they depend on liblensfun-data, which is
also architecture-neutral.)
