Package: dpkg
Severity: wishlist
thanks

Given a Depends like:

    Depends: bash [amd64!amd64]

dpkg appears to eat this and treat it as a single string
("amd64!amd64"), and not as "[amd64 !amd64]", nor raise an error (likely
the best course of action)

Thanks for your work on dpkg,
  Paul
