Hi, I don't agree that this bug should be closed just yet. Yes it's true that post-jessie kernels have overlayfs. Yet, this does not ameliorate the problem. I just installed a brand new Jessie VM and installed the 4.0 kernel from experimental, with the overlay (I guess that's the same as overlayfs on ubuntu, as overlayfs does not exist in the debian kernel) module loaded the exact same bug is present in the system. That is, unprivileged containers work just fine but unprivileged + ephemeral ones, don't work at all with seemingly no means to get insightful debug output/feedback. cheers --manuel
