FYI this is fixed in 1.6.7, see
https://gitlab.com/cryptsetup/cryptsetup/issues/238

You have also workaround mentioned there (do not specify IV for ECB mode because
there is no initial vector in ECB mode - iow benbi is superfluous).

Anyway, ECB mode for disk encryption is not secure, I hope you do not use it 
for real data!
