Hello Juergen, Juergen Stuber [2015-04-29 11:19 +0200]: > the default colors of systemctl output are unreadable in my terminals, > where I use a light background.
As a daytime worker I also use a white background, but the colors (black, green, and red) are readable very well on it. Do you happen to have a screenshot to illustrate how it looks for you? Perhaps the colors aren't as intended on your terminal? One way to turn off the colors is to stop stdout being a tty, e. g. systemctl status default.target | cat Thanks, Martin -- Martin Pitt | http://www.piware.de Ubuntu Developer (www.ubuntu.com) | Debian Developer (www.debian.org) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
