Here a few more screenshots so that you can figure out which font looks better.
[2], [3], [4] were taken using freefont-ttf-20051206.tar.gz ([1]) which includes fixed Bengali glyphs [5], [6], [7] where taken using the current freefont in the debian archive after stripping Bengali glyphs (u981:u9fa both from FreeSans.ttf and FreeSerif.ttf), and using MuktiNarrow.ttf and MuktiNarrowBold.ttf as you previously suggested. Is up to you to decide which one is better.
