Package: lvm2 Version: 2.02.111-2.2 Severity: normal File: /lib/udev/rules.d/69-lvm-metad.rules
/lib/udev/rules.d/69-lvm-metad.rules contains the following line: ACTION!="remove", ENV{LVM_PV_GONE}=="1", RUN+="/bin/systemd-run /sbin/lvm pvscan --cache $major:$minor", GOTO="lvm_end" In Debian, systemd-run is installed as /usr/bin/systemd-run, thus this rule will fail. Now that initramfs-tools mounts /usr in in the initramfs, I no longer see a compelling reason to move the binary from /usr/bin/ to /bin and therefor think this rule should be fixed. I've CCed my fellow pkg-systemd maintainers for their input and if they would prefer if we moved the binary instead. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages lvm2 depends on: ii dmeventd 2:1.02.90-2.2 ii dmsetup 2:1.02.90-2.2 ii init-system-helpers 1.22 ii initscripts 2.88dsf-59 ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libdevmapper-event1.02.1 2:1.02.90-2.2 ii libdevmapper1.02.1 2:1.02.90-2.2 ii libreadline5 5.2+dfsg-2 ii libudev1 215-17 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian13+nmu1 lvm2 recommends no packages.
