I've recently merged a patch into jackd2 upstream to fix this. It's been known for ages. Patch in question: https://github.com/jackaudio/jack2/commit/3c05a0b36ec5a925a0020ab5d1e57fa38e9a7d09 If you want it in jessie (for no real benefit, people know how to work around it as mentioned in https://github.com/jackaudio/jack2/issues/10), just backport this fix. Otherwise, we'll sync to new upstream version after the release of jessie, that will automatically fix the issue.
