I've contacted upstream regarding the issue in MIPS [0]. Dmitry V. Levin <l...@altlinux.org> sent me the attached [1] patch [2] to handle the error. I'm currently giving it a bit of testing, but my MIPS setup is qemu based and pretty slow right now. Will give more info as soon as possible. best regards.
