The version claiming to have fixed #769951 is 0.19.9-1, currently
available in experimental only.
I was hoping to get a fixed version into jessie, but this is not very
likely to happen now (plus I'm unsure how to proceed); and for
update-rc.d to do what's required, there's also #746580 against sysv-rc
(RC, still open, has a patch).
