Hi, regarding my bug report, it seems like it was a combination of Samba and squid3 bugs. Samba is apparently fixed, squid3 is "kinda fixed". It does not hang forever now, just for about 30 seconds. Might be a configuration issue, I usually don't use and only reinstalled it now to re-test that problem.
