it looks like there is recent upstream activity on this package, see http://tartarus.org/~simon-git/gitweb/?p=halibut.git;a=shortlog . Please upgrade to the latest release version, like 1.1. I tested it today, it's a straight-forward upgrade and looks OK except for the tons of hardening related warnings but the current version also displays them.
