Hi,I can confirm the bug, the php5-curl (5.4.36-0+deb7u3 => 5.4.38-0+deb7u1) update today broke the access in our system as well. Symptoms are the same, the client certificate not sent to the server.
Curl itself not affected, the command line curl connects just fine, only the php extension broken.
