Hallo, I tried the version 1.8.9-3 from experimental branch and I get the same error while faxing:
E [11/Mar/2015:13:50:28 +0100] [Job 141] Cannot set file owner for /var/spool/roger/peter: Operation not permitted When I create this directory manual I get the error message "Backend failed" (as in the bug ticket described).
