Hi Onur, I don't plan to bring an updated version of livestreamer to Debian stable (jessie) or to provide backports.
Among other reasons, the non-latest version of livestreamer will always be broken for some service or another. This roots in the nature of how livestreamer interacts with the various services. Most likely every livestreamer update would have to be made available in jessie. I don’t think this is feasible. Instead, please install livestreamer from testing (unstable), as long as the other dependencies can be satisfied from stable.
