I'm not sure what do you mean by "guests clock starts at the hosts boot time". I booted several guests with the command lines you provided, and guest time is fine, no matter if the host booted just a few mins ago or some days ago. How do you determine that guests clock starts at the hosts boot time? > The upgrade involved both qemu and libvirt. > > qemu command line before the upgrade: > LC_ALL=C PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin > /usr/bin/kvm -S -M pc-1.0 -enable-kvm -m 128 -smp > 1,sockets=1,cores=1,threads=1 -name www -uuid > f6b52c6b-be57-336b-cfe5-07098c5608e0 -nographic -no-user-config -nodefaults > -chardev > socket,id=charmonitor,path=/var/lib/libvirt/qemu/www.monitor,server,nowait > -mon chardev=charmonitor,id=monitor, mode=control -rtc base=utc -no-shutdown > -kernel /boot/kvm-router/vmlinuz -append root=/dev/vda ro console=ttyS0 > -device piix3-usb-uhci,id=usb,bus=pci.0,addr=0x1.0x2 -drive > file=/dev/vg/vm_www_root,if=none,id=drive-virtio-disk0,format=raw,cache=none > -device > virtio-blk-pci,scsi=off,bus=pci.0,addr=0x4,drive=drive-virtio-disk0,id=virtio-disk0,bootindex=1 > -drive > file=/dev/vg/vm_www_swap,if=none,id=drive-virtio-disk1,format=raw,cache=unsafe > -device > virtio-blk-pci,scsi=off,bus=pci.0,addr=0x5,drive=drive-virtio-disk1,id=virtio-disk1 > -netdev tap,fd=25,id=hostnet0 -device > virtio-net-pci,netdev=hostnet0,id=net0,mac=02:84:00:00:00:0 8 , > bus=pci.0,addr=0x3 -chardev pty,id=charserial0 -device > isa-serial,chardev=charserial0,id=serial0 -device > i6300esb,id=watchdog0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x7 -watchdog-action reset -device > virtio-balloon-pci,id=balloon0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x6 Out of curiocity, what reason do you have to keep pc-1.0 in there? What guest is that, to start with? Thanks, /mjt -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
