Hmm, you are correct, no AHBL hits after doing that.

Makes sense. As long as it checks for network beforehand and doesn't
annoy root with mail spam, this should be fine.

I expect lots of folks disable JavaScript by default these days, it is
quite a bit of browser attack surface bloat as well as general bloat.
