hy guys I was updating from wheezy to jessie. I reboot I connect an externel USB3 HDD 2 TB in a root shell: df mount /media/sdb1 is not possible umount /media/sdb1 is not possible only by disk-manager
kate /etc/fstab changes can't solve the problem: mount: can't find /media/sdb1 in /etc/fstab I can't umount /media/sdb1 or mount -n -o remount,rw /media/sdb1 or chmod --recursive ug+r * or write on a externel USB HDD. I can only mount over disk-manager or ntfs-3g-2013.1.13-6.fc20.x86_64.rpm after alien -d The ntfs-3g-2013.1.13-6.fc20.x86_64.rpm is from fedora 20 with the original ntfs-3g from the debian jessie repository is nothing possible. I have no chances to becomes the access rights on the externel hdd with chmod or krusader/root or mc but I need the externel HDD for Backups cheers Ralph -------- Weitergeleitete Nachricht --------Von: baer <r...@gmx.ch> Reply-to: baer <r...@gmx.ch>, 779...@bugs.debian.org An: Debian Bug Tracking System <sub...@bugs.debian.org> Betreff: Bug#779160: ntfs-3g: I can't umount/mount -n -o remount, rw /ext/hdd or chmod --recursive ug+r * or write on a USB HDD Datum: Wed, 25 Feb 2015 00:24:23 +0100 Package: ntfs-3g Version: 2013.1.13-7 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages ntfs-3g depends on: ii libc6 2.19-13 ntfs-3g recommends no packages. ntfs-3g suggests no packages. -- debconf information: ntfs-3g/initramfs: true ntfs-3g/setuid-root: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
