The two bugs I'm sending this to both report the same problem, one
against perl (343335) and one against spamassassin (340334).  I'm seeing
the same problem.

Though this looks like a perl problem, it might be a difficulty just in
spamassassin's code.

Though one of the bugs characterizes the message as "apparently
harmless" (and then notes that it hangs sa-learn), it's not clear to me
whether it affects the basic operation of spamassassin/spamd or not.
I'd be grateful if anyone could clarify.

A fix would be nice too :)
