Package: xboing
Version: 2.4-31
Severity: normal

I enjoy playing xboing quite a bit, thanks for packaing.

However, two bugs reduce the playing fun. I'll reported the first bug
in another bug report.

I can set the ball speed at startup using the command line option
"speed". However, during game play the speed varies a lot. When there
is lots of action the ball gets slower, e.g. when bombs blow up or
multiple balls are released. This makes predictive movement with the
paddle much more difficult than necessary.
