I need to run and update flash on my work computer which is behind a proxy. I do something along the lines of (as root) http_proxy=http://proxy:8080/ https_proxy=http://proxy:8080/\ update-flashplugin-nonfree but I get the error failed to read http://www.adobe.com/ at get-upstream-version.pl line 48.
