I've forwarded the bug upstram. If nothing happens upstream by the time of jessie release I can apply the patch to a new revision of the deb package.
For reference, I add here that this does not happen when running rst2pdf directly, but it does when running it through sphinx; e.g. $ cat sample.rst Hello world! $ rst2pdf sample.rst $ grep CreationDate sample.pdf [...] /CreationDate (D:20150209143257-01'00') [...] but a simple sphinx project resulted in a PDF that embedded /CreationDate <rst2pdf.createpdf.PDFDate instance at 0x7fd5440e76c8> -- Elena ``of Valhalla'' -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
