Hi, we recently found that sbuild is not able to handle source packages using the :native architecture qualifier [1]. Fixing this issue can be done by the minimal attached patch (also found in bug #777204). Since build daemons run stable, not having this functionality in stable would delay the possibility to upload packages with the :native architecture qualifier for another release cycle. Given how small the patch is and the impact for the coming release cycle, would it be possible to grant a unblock for sbuild once the version fixing this issue is in unstable? For evidence that dpkg, apt and dose3 understand this syntax and that the proposed patch works as advertised, please have a look at bug #777204. By doing a test upload of a source package using the :native qualifier we also show how sbuild is the remaining blocker in being able to upload packages with this syntax to unstable. This problem was discussed with wookey in his position as an sbuild maintainer and I'm writing you instead because he's currently busy. Thanks! cheers, josch [1] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MultiarchCross -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
