Package: latrace
Version: 0.5.11-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

It looks like the ReleaseNotes file in the upstream source provides
user-oriented summaries of changes on a release-by-release basis,
organized by topic, which is AIUI exactly what a NEWS file is supposed
to do.

So, it would probably be a good idea to install that file as
/usr/share/doc/latrace/NEWS (before the dh_compress(1) step, which would
presumably compress that to NEWS.gz).

[Of course, I guess this'd be more relevant in the presence of, you
know, ongoing changes...]

Don't even bother installing the README: it doesn't even have the
current address of the website, nevermind anything about how to actually
use the program.

p.s. Today I learned that dh_installchangelog(1) doesn't support
installing upstream NEWS files, regardless of their filenames.
