Package: pcmciautils Version: 011-1 Followup-For: Bug #343193 Same problem, pcmciautils doesn't work for my card. pcmcia-cs still installed but I have to manually run cardmgr to get it to work.
card is a Belkin wireless card uses driver atmel-cs and atmel-firmware package (at76c50x chipset). online suggestions were to manually run pcmcia-socket-start but that script is not in existence. pccardctl ident returns nothing, as in it shows no cards, unless cardmgr has been made to run. the card lights up fine, and works fine with no special config using pcmcia-cs. -Darren -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-wizardry Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages pcmciautils depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-8.1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libsysfs1 1.3.0-5 interface library to sysfs ii module-init-tools 3.2.2-1 tools for managing Linux kernel mo ii udev 0.076-6 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo pcmciautils recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
