Hi, this is a bug in wine's wine-wrapper script. It's already fixed in the wine-development packages, but I assume it won't be fixed for jessie's wine.
You can workaround it by explicitly calling wine, i.e. "wine winecfg". Once you have installed an app in wine and thus a system.reg is created, "winecfg" will work just as expected, Greets jre -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
