Hi,

this is very likely caused by ssh/the terminal settings. "home" and "end"
both work fine here on my Debian system (kde konsole).

Probably more programs than just less are having problems with those keys?
Like maybe the shell command line? Do you have mappings defined in your
/etc/inputrc?
