Hi, it seems there are no answers to this problem, isn't it? or perhaps
am I missing something?
Anyway, I experience the exact same issues that Gerry reported, even
though I use gnome:
$ dpkg -l gdm3
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
|
Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend
|/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name Version Architecture Description
+++-==============-============-============-=================================
ii gdm3 3.4.1-8 amd64 Next generation GNOME
Display Man
However, the problem is not there from the beginning, as soon as I log
on and open a new gnome session It appears as soon as I open a root
terminal from gnome menu (don't know whether this can possibly happen
also with other actions).
Does somebody have any suggestion to solve it?
Cheers
