Package: java-package Version: 0.53~bpo70+1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I recently tried making a DEB package for both "jre-7u75-linux-x64.tar.gz" and "server-jre-7u75-linux-x64.tar.gz", and make-jpkg(1) generates a file called "oracle-java7-jre_7u75_amd64.deb" for both. This makes it difficult, by default, to have both files in an internal Debian repo. Perhaps "headless" could be added to the server-jre package name, since that seems to already be used: https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=headless -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages java-package depends on: ii debhelper 9.20120909 ii fakeroot 1.18.4-2 ii libasound2 1.0.25-4 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1+deb7u1 ii unzip 6.0-8+deb7u1 Versions of packages java-package recommends: ii dpkg-dev 1.16.15 pn gcc <none> Versions of packages java-package suggests: pn openjdk-6-jre <none> pn openjdk-7-jre <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
