Will this work also with pulseaudio? If I am to believe the graph available from <URL: https://qa.debian.org/popcon-png.php?packages=xdg-utils%2Cpulseaudio&show_installed=on > (comparing xdg-utils which I believe is installed in all desktop systems) and pulseaudio), pulseaudio is installed on most desktop machines using Debian.
