Mathieu, some additional info about this bug that I just discovered on the Horde mailing lists.

Apparently Horde requires jquery-mobile v 1.3.x because 1.4.x made some incompatible changes. The exact wording from a Horde developer was:

  - We had to custom write a bunch of localized Horde code to support
dynamic pages
  - The way jquery mobile loads pages changed between 1.3 -> 1.4,
breaking this custom code

So updating libjs-jquery-mobile to the latest stable version (1.4.5 now) will cause new problems.

The good news is Horde_Core ships with a copy of the correct jquery-mobile. The bad news of course is this means Horde's jquery-mobile will some day be out of date and need updating.

But at the moment our options seem to be limited to either a broken smartmobile view for Horde/Imp or using the jguery-mobile shipped in Hored_Core (or somehow convincing the libjs-jquery-mobile package manager to upgrade to 1.3.2 and stop there and not go on to the current stable 1.4.x, which I think is very unlikely and mostly out of our control)

FWIW, to fix our production Horde we have for the moment manually uploaded jquery-mobile.1.3.2 to all our servers and changed the package links to point to that version...but that is NOT a good long term solution.

Thanks for all your hard work.
