Hello Jörg,

Firstly, sorry if I am not replying correctly to this Debian bug report but
I have not much experience with this.

On https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=727211 you asked
whether the bug still exists in version 1.0.25+git20150102-1.

I can confirm the bug seems to be fixed. I have a CanoScan Lide 110 and an
Intel NUC with Intel USB3 ports. Linux kernel is version
3.16.7-ckt2-1~bpo70+1

Running Wheezy, I could not build a clean package. Instead I downloaded the
source package and did an ugly make && make install. That seems to work as
the scanner does not stops working after multiple scans. One small issue:
to me it feels that initiating the scan takes longer than in version
1.0.24, but I may be wrong about that.

PS: how can I create a clean Debian package of 1.0.25+git20150102-1 for
Wheezy? Obviously, I want to do make uninstall and replace this
installation by a clean package. I would be very grateful for your help!
