Hi, In 2.7.1-2, dovocet support together with courier auth support were removed. In 2.7.1-3, courier auth support was reactivated. So I am keeping this bug open but let me also point out some auth problem encountered in 2.7.1-2 may have been fixed in 2.7.1-3 currently in unstable with unblock approved for release in Jessie. See bug #774598 maildrop: Maildrop package is not build with authlib support. I am not going to reactivate patch but keep it in the source package. So I am attaching wontfix tag.
