Package: general Severity: important Dear Maintainer, *** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation? Suspending this computer. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I put my computer to sleep. * What was the outcome of this action? When I wake the computer in any manner it either goes straight to bios and performs a hard reboot or it just remains blackscreened and unresponsive. It happens on two of my desktops. * What outcome did you expect instead? I expect it to wake up. This occurred on upgrading from 7.7 to 7.8. I went as far as to reinstall both my desktops and the problem still persists. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.8 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
