just a quick note to attach to this ticket. I am happy to have gsfonts
replaced, but I am not the maintainer anymore so I guess it is not up to
me to decide this. The "fun" with gsfonts is that it feels like warez in
that it is not even easy to find a download location. I guess that is
intentional, so that they can still sell those fonts. :-)
I am mostly writing to suggest that you contact the current maintainer
Masayuki Hatta directly via the email address listed in the package.
Your original mail had a spelling error for packages.debian.org but I am
also unsure if that is a reliable way to contact a maintainer. I did not
see any email of this conversation (but I guess the @packages alias only
forwards to the official maintainer).
Looking forward to find out about the metrics...
