I am unable to see wallpaper + lock screen in gnome desktop - I see completely black background. Also, on doing alt-tab I see black windows instead of application thumbnails. I am unable to set wallpaper (nothing happens). Gnome tweak tool shows that shell-theme is empty and shows alert sign next to it, so I think this may be this is because the gnome-shell theme could not be loaded. Other applications work fine, but this looks like an important usability problem to me since general look and feel is impacted. This started happening last week when I switched from stable to testing by changing apt sources.list and ran apt-get upgrade.
