See #309121, the asm part of hxclient depends on gcc 3.x. Nobody, including upstream, wants or can fix it to comply with 4.x. Anyway, Real instead works on a complete rewrite for helix player 2. Until this is ready, helix-player 1.x ist lost with gcc 3.x. Why not close the bug?
