Thanks for the patch! I skimmed through it and it looks good to me, except that you're missing a build-dep on dh-python (since you're now using dh_python/pybuild). I'll hold off on uploading this for now, since Debian is in freeze and the upload requires that I use a different orig tarball (which won't work with the same upstream version unless I mangle the version, urgh).
