Package: debhelper Version: 9.20141022 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I started specifying debug packages for a package and therefore consulted the WikiPage for that (https://wiki.debian.org/DebugPackage). There is the example for several debug packages out of a single source package described, which invokes the -p parameter of dh_strip. This parameter is not documented in the man page of dh_strip. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-updates'), (100, 'experimental'), (100, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.18.0-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages debhelper depends on: ii binutils 2.24.90.20141023-1 ii dpkg 1.17.22 ii dpkg-dev 1.17.22 ii file 1:5.20-2 ii libdpkg-perl 1.17.22 ii man-db 2.7.0.2-4 iu perl 5.20.1-4 ii po-debconf 1.0.16+nmu3 debhelper recommends no packages.
