Package: gscan2pdf Version: 1.2.7-1 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch upstream
please have a look at the patch series against gscan2pdf's master branch in https://github.com/marschap/gscan2pdf/commits/djvu-with-metadata It enhances gscan2pdf by using metadata when saving files in the DjVu format: * use metadata for default filename (analogue to PDF) * add metadata to the contents of the DjVu file This makes DjVu a citizen of the same class as PDF. More detailed explanations in the commit messages. It would be cool if these changes would make it into the next gscan2pdf release.
