Hi! While working on the “reproducible builds” effort [1], we have noticed that lprng failed to build reproducibly [2]. The problematic bit is the timestamp written in the example lpd.conf file. As this doesn't feel like really crucial information, the attached patch simply removes it. The package then builds reproducibly within our current framework.
