Please also check the backups in /var/backups/dpkg.statoverride* to
determine whether /usr/lib/dbus-1.0/dbus-daemon-launch-helper had
statoverride entry before you upgraded to 1.8.12-2. I think they're
rotated daily, so please check this as soon as possible before the
relevant one is rotated away.
I would expect that it should have an entry there now, but that it would
not have had an entry before you upgraded.
