Package: jffnms Version: 0.8.2-3 Severity: important jffnms depends on rrdtool, but the rrdtool package currently in testing and above is incompatible with jffnms. Physical interfaces works - according to the jffnms mailing list - only with rrdtool 1.0.49 (the version available in stable/sarge) but not with the 1.2.x version currently available in testing and unstable.
The result show up when displaying traffic reports on physical interfaces. Jffnms can display utilization report but not traffic report. A manual downgrade to 1.0.49 will temporarily fix the problem. Jffnms should either fix this problem with later versions of rddtool or depend on rddtool 1.0.49 until the problem is fixed (ant it does seem to be a jffnms problem - not a problem with the debian package). -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages jffnms depends on: ii adduser 3.80 Add and remove users and groups ii apache2-mpm-prefork [httpd] 2.0.54-5 traditional model for Apache2 ii dbconfig-common 1.8.7 common framework for packaging dat ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.59 Debian configuration management sy ii php4 4:4.4.0-4 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-cli 4:4.4.0-4 command-line interpreter for the p ii php4-gd [php4-gd2] 4:4.4.0-4 GD module for php4 ii php4-pgsql 4:4.4.0-4 PostgreSQL module for php4 ii php4-snmp 4:4.4.0-4 SNMP module for php4 hi rrdtool 1.0.49-1 Time-series data storage and displ Versions of packages jffnms recommends: ii fping 2.4b2-to-ipv6-12 sends ICMP ECHO_REQUEST packets to ii nmap 3.93-1.0.1 The Network Mapper ii ntp 1:4.2.0a+stable-2sarge1 Network Time Protocol: network uti -- debconf information: jffnms/app-password-confirm: (password omitted) jffnms/pgsql/admin-pass: (password omitted) jffnms/pgsql/app-pass: (password omitted) jffnms/password-confirm: (password omitted) jffnms/mysql/app-pass: (password omitted) jffnms/mysql/admin-pass: (password omitted) jffnms/pgsql/authmethod-admin: ident jffnms/remote/newhost: jffnms/purge: false jffnms/erroruid: * jffnms/database-type: pgsql jffnms/configapache: ${webserver} jffnms/import-oldsettings: jffnms/remote/port: jffnms/pgsql/admin-user: postgres jffnms/mysql/admin-user: root jffnms/deletelogs: 7 jffnms/pgsql/method: unix socket jffnms/pgsql/changeconf: false jffnms/compresslogs: 2 jffnms/performing_upgrade: false jffnms/remote/host: jffnms/pgsql/manualconf: jffnms/errorgid: jffnms/db/dbname: jffnms jffnms/install-error: abort jffnms/mysql/method: unix socket jffnms/dbconfig-upgrade: true * jffnms/dbconfig-install: true jffnms/db/app-user: jffnms jffnms/pgsql/no-empty-passwords: jffnms/dbconfig-remove: true jffnms/pgsql/authmethod-user: ident jffnms/upgrade-backup: true jffnms/remove-error: abort jffnms/upgrade-error: abort jffnms/passwords-do-not-match: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
