Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? I performed software update * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I reinstalled gnome, chrome * What was the outcome of this action? no changes to the behavior, gnome still appears to be restarting (screen becomes black, nvidia welcome screen appears and then the login prompt appears) * What outcome did you expect instead?
